اقام مركز تورنتو في حزب القوات اللبنانيه حفلاً ميلاديًّا يوم الأحد في٩ كانون الأول، ٢٠٢٣ في مطعم لارا في مدينة تورونتو
تميز الحفل بحضور القنصل الفخري في تورونتو، ممثلين عن الكنائس والاحزاب والأندية والفعاليات في الجاليه اللبنانية، إلى جانب عدد كبير من القواتيين والمناصرين
وبحضور منسق القوات اللبنانية في كندا ميشال عقل وعقيلته
تم خلال الحفل اعلان انطلاقة الجيل القواتي الجديد، في تورونتو تحت عنوان “أجيال تسلم اجيال”
كذلك تم خلال الحفل، تكريم كافة الرؤساء السابقين من قبل الرئيسة الحالية، سميرة متري وبحضور نائب الرئيس، الدكتور إلياس قالوش، وأبرز المكرَّمين
بسام داغر، وفادي شربين، وإبراهيم الياس، ومروان صادر، وشربل باسيل، وفيليب صادر، وادمون الشدياق، وشكرتهم على إدارتهم المركز، سابقا
وقد تم أيضا تكريم ميشال قاصوف، المنسق السابق، لعطاءاته وتسلمه مهام منسقية كندا لمدة ١٣ سنة
كما سلّمت رئيسة المركز بعض المنتسبين الجدد بطاقاتهم الحزبية، وحثّت الحضور على الانتساب لما في ذلك من أهميّة لاستمرار المسيرة التنظيميّة الحزبيّة
وتميز الحفل بزيارة مفاجئة ل”بابا نويل” حيث أضفت زيارته جوًّا من الفرح لدى الصغار والكبار
The Lebanese Forces – Toronto Chapter hosted their annual Christmas party on Sunday, December 9, 2023, at Lara Restaurant in Toronto. The event was graced by the Lebanese Honorary Consul in Toronto, representatives from various sectors, and leaders in the Lebanese community. Noteworthy attendees included the coordinator of the Lebanese Forces in Canada, Michel Akl, accompanied by his wife.
The highlight of the ceremony was the launch of the New Lebanese Forces Comrades group.
New Lebanese Forces comrades project aimed at encouraging the young generation to join the LF party and start their political journey.
President Samira Mitri expressed gratitude to former chapter presidents, including Bassam Dagher, Fadi Charbine, Ibrahim Elias, Marwan Sader, Charbel Bassil, Philippe Sader, and Edmond Chidiac.
The ceremony also paid tribute to Michel Kassouf, the former Lebanese Forces – Canada’s coordinator, for his dedicated 13 years of service. New members received their membership cards, while the occasion served as a call to action, encouraging others to join the Lebanese Forces party for its significance in the party’s structure, perpetuity, and growth. The festive conclusion featured a surprise visit from Santa Claus, adding an atmosphere of joy for all attendees.
